Punjab govt to grant NOC to new businesses in 15 days

LAHORE: SM Tanveer, Punjab’s Minister for Industries and Commerce, has announced that new businesses in Punjab can obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) within a swift 15-day timeframe.

Addressing a gathering in Lahore, SM Tanveer highlighted that traditionally, 133 NOCs were required for initiating a new business, and as per existing regulations, these certificates should be issued within 25 days.

The acting Minister of Commerce announced the unveiling of a comprehensive new industrial policy before concluding their term in office. He further said that the agriculture policy will be disclosed next month.
