CM Punjab orders deployment of additional manpower for immediate completion of Rawalpindi Ring Road Project

RAWALPINDI: During his visit to the Rawalpindi Ring Road project, Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, highlighted the need for expediting the project’s completion.

He inspected the Khalsa Khurd Adiala Interchange site between Friday and Saturday night, closely monitoring the ongoing progress. Chief Minister Naqvi issued clear instructions to deploy an additional workforce, ensuring a swift pace in the project’s development.

In his directives to Rawalpindi Commissioner and Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) officials, Chief Minister Naqvi urged them to expedite the construction process.

He specifically ordered Nespak to promptly provide project-related drawings. Expressing concerns about the slow earthwork progress, he highlighted the necessity of speeding up the process and increasing the number of dumpers.

Furthermore, Chief Minister Naqvi instructed Commissioner Rawalpindi to make regular visits to the site and submit comprehensive reports.

He affirmed his personal commitment to closely monitoring the Rawalpindi Ring Road project. The Chief Minister also visited FWO’s camp office, where he received a detailed briefing on earthwork and other project-related issues.

The Rawalpindi Ring Road project, spanning 38.3 km with 6 lanes, was discussed during the briefing. Present at the event were Provincial Health Minister Dr. Jamal Nasir, along with Commissioner, RPO, CPO, Deputy Commissioner, and FWO officials, underscoring the significance of the project for the region.
