WEB DESK: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has declared a three-day holiday in observance of Eidul Fitr, starting from Wednesday, April 10th, to Friday, April 12th, 2024.

This announcement was made through an official statement released by the central bank.

According to the statement, the closure of the State Bank of Pakistan during these days is in line with the public holidays designated for Eidul Fitr.

This decision aligns with the federal government’s earlier announcement of a holiday period, which extends to three or four days, depending on the weekly working schedule of offices.

This year, Eidul Fitr is anticipated to occur either on April 10th or April 11th, contingent upon the sighting of the moon.

As a result, the SBP has adjusted its operational schedule accordingly, ensuring that employees and stakeholders are informed well in advance.
