OEC opens job opportunities for Pakistani workers in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain

ISLAMABAD: The Overseas Employment Corporation is gearing up to send skilled and unskilled workers including medical professionals to Saudi Arabia and Bahrain as part of its efforts to connect Pakistani talent with international opportunities.
An official source revealed that the move aims to meet growing demand for healthcare professionals and construction workers in both countries.
Medical professionals interested in these roles will need an MBBS degree or an equivalent qualification along with the HIMAA ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS Introductory Course.
At least four years of relevant experience in healthcare institutions or insurance companies is also required, with the upper age limit set at 50. Both men and women are encouraged to apply.
For those in the construction sector, OEC is accepting applications until 18th December. Among the available roles is Laboratory Manager, which requires a BSc in Engineering, B-Tech, or a relevant diploma, alongside 15 years of experience, including five years in a similar role.
The position involves overseeing lab operations, ensuring safety standards, and managing staff.
OEC is also looking for Laboratory Technicians, who must have a three-year diploma in Associate Engineering or a degree in a science-related field. These technicians will be responsible for testing materials like concrete, asphalt, and soil.
With the OEC already providing skilled workers to around 40 countries, this latest initiative aims to open even more doors for Pakistanis seeking jobs abroad.
Applications can be submitted online via the OEC’s website and a bank challan of Rs1,000 is required for medical and managerial posts while the fee for technicians is Rs500.
