Stock market closing in on 3,000 points gain

KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) ended a seven-session losing streak yesterday, closing with 207.94 points gain at 72,797.43 points.

Today (Thursday), the benchmark KSE-100 index has been on an impressive rally, closing in to 3,000 points gains.

PSX doubles the morning gains; hovering around 1,200 points gains

After opening with a quick 637.54 points gain moments after opening, seen at 73,434.97 points the index soon jumped even further crossing 74,000 points mark to trade around 74,092.21 points, showing 1,294 points gains, all before 10 AM.

By 1 PM, the index had crossed the 75,000 points mark, trading at 75,705.88 points.
