Stock market tops 74,000 mark with 1,000 points gain

KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has reached a historic high, as it has crossed the 74,000 points psychological limit for the first time.

Stock market begins with hopes of extending Friday’s bullish run

On Friday, the benchmark KSE-100 index crossed the 73,000 points mark and today opened at Friday’s closing of 73,085.5 points. Since opening, the market has been steadily showing positive trend, finally breaching the 74,000 points mark shortly after 1:00 PM.

By 1:30 PM, the index was seen trading at 74,085.98 with 1,000 points growth since morning.
