Turnaround in KSE-100, stock market up by 620 points


PSX comeback

KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) opened at 77,740.30 points on Friday amidst downward pressures. However, soon after opening, the benchmark KSE-100 index was seen recovering yesterday’s losses.

By 9:30 AM, the index had grown over 300 points, and by 10:30 AM, the KSE-100 index was seen hovering at 78,360.83 points, showing 620 points growth.

Stock market slips further to lowest position in the week

This is the first time since Monday that the index has shown noticeable recovery. Yesterday’s closing was the lowest the index has touched at ending time in this week.
