Intraday trade: Pakistani rupee gains 14 paisa against US dollar

KARACHI: On Friday, the final trading day of the week, The US dollar (USD) decreased by 14 paisa against the Pakistani rupee (PKR) during early trade.

The greenback around 10:00 AM was recorded at Rs277.60 against the Pakistani currency, according to the exchange companies’ association.

In the previous trading session on Thursday, PKR recorded a slight gain as it closed at Rs277.74 after appreciating 0.04 per cent or nearly 11 paisa against the USD.

Since the start of 2025, PKR has appreciated 1.48 per cent, or Rs4.12, against the USD, while considering the ongoing financial year 2025, PKR has increased by 60.11 paisa, or 0.22 per cent, versus the American currency.
