KU Gulshan TMC inks MoU to improve road infrastructure

The University of Karachi and the Town Municipal Corporation of the Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi East, signed the memorandum of understanding to establish a collaboration framework to improve the road infrastructure, which will benefit students, faculty, and staff.

As per the MoU, TMC Gulshan will carpet the road in front of the KU Department of Genetics to enhance accessibility and safety. The Gulshan TMC will also provide support in installing and maintaining lighting along the road from the KU Department of Biotechnology to the Department of Agriculture and Agribusiness Management to improve visibility on the street.

The garden at the KU Department of Food Science and Technology will also be renovated, including landscaping and aesthetic improvements, to create a conducive environment for learning and relaxation.

The KU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Khalid Mahmood Iraqi and the Chairman TMC Gulshan Dr Fauad Ahmed inked the MoU documents at the VC Secretariat on Friday.
