ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to contest the Peshawar High Court’s (PHC) recent decision by filing an appeal in the Supreme Court.

The focal point of contention revolves around the PHC’s decision concerning the ‘bat’ mark as election symbol allotted to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
