WEB DESK: South Asian millennials who were forced to watch Amitabh Bachchan’s Baghbaan as children or young adults understand the worth of Aamir Khan’s Taare Zameen Par as an excellent comeback. So nearly after two decades to find out that Aamir Khan is returning with another film like TZP has all eyes on the updates on the one of the three Khans who recently revealed that his new film Sitaare Zameen Par will present him as an ‘politically incorrect’ coach, basically on the opposite end of his earlier role of an empathetic art teacher.

According to Pink Villa, the film is slated to be released on June 20 this year but is yet to be confirmed by the filmmakers. According to Khan, the film would be an extension of TZP but with the changes of the coach’s character development.

Andaz Apna Apna rerelease comes with a new trailer

“It is about people who are differently abled. It is about love, friendship and life. Taare Zameen Par made you cry but this film will make you laugh. It’s a comedy but the theme is the same,” he said to China fan club.

The coach known as Gulshan will be very rude, insensitive who argues with his wife, mother and insults everyone: “He is a basketball coach and he beats up his senior coach. He is a person with a lot of internal problems, and the story is how he changes with the film. How these people in the spectrum teach him what it is to be a good human being.”

The yet to be released film is a remake of a Spanish film Champions.

It would be a treat to watch Aamir as the coach and if he would draw any inspiration from Shahrukh Khan’s Chak De India where the latter played a women’s hockey’s strict coach.
