Dodi Khan gifts diamond ring to Rakhi Sawant in Dubai – wedding bells or what?

DUBAI: Pakistani actor and model Dodi Khan has presented a diamond ring to Indian actress Rakhi Sawant, fulfilling a promise he made on Valentine’s Day. 

In a video posted on his Instagram account, Khan claimed to have purchased the ring for Rs1.8 million. “I see people making tall claims about giving Rakhi expensive gifts, but they are just words. I don’t just talk— I act,” he said in the video.

On Sunday, the duo was seen together enjoying the Pakistan vs India Champions Trophy match in Dubai. They also shared videos of their get-together on social media.

One of such videos posted on Instagram, Rakhi showcased the diamond ring, saying, “Here’s another breaking news—Dodi Khan has given me this ring!”

In her video, Rakhi Sawant confronted Dodi Khan, asking about his U-turn from the marriage proposal.

“Are you my fiancé? Am I Pakistan’s daughter-in-law? A friend? What is this sudden U-turn? How do I answer the world? Is everything just a drama?”

Khan, however, was quick to clarify, saying, “We are friends and will always be friends. Marriage? I could hold your hand and take you anywhere, but the bond that lasts forever is friendship.”

The duo has been making headlines recently, with their social media posts sparking widespread speculation.

In one of her interviews in the last of January, Rakhi Sawant revealed she had received numerous marriage proposals from Pakistan, mainly following the hullabaloos surrounding her previous marriages.

She said, “I will definitely choose one proposal. Such relationships promote peace between the two countries.” Rakhi also praised the people of Pakistan, saying she loves them deeply and has many fans in the country.

However, after Dodi Khan backed out of marrying Rakhi Sawant, Mufti Qavi stepped in and expressed his willingness to marry the Indian actress.

During a podcast, a female anchor asked Mufti Qavi, Rakhi Sawant has expressed her desire to marry a Pakistani Maulana. Are you willing to marry her?

Mufti Qavi responded affirmatively, stating that he is willing to marry her on one condition—his mother’s approval of the Nikkah.
