KARACHI: Pakistan’s new music competition, Pakistan Idol, is set to begin, with the next round of auditions scheduled for Sunday, August 31, at the Arts Council in Karachi.

Earlier, auditions started from Sukkur, followed by Multan, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, where several talented singers impressed the judges with their performances.

The judging panel featured Junoon’s Ali Azmat, veteran actor Bushra Ansari, and renowned singer Hadiqa Kiani. Zamad Baig from Lahore emerged as the winner of that season.

The new season of Pakistan Idol will be aired on a private television channel. The judges for the upcoming Pakistan Idol 2025 season are Fawad Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Zeb Bangash, and Bilal Maqsood.
