Wayne Lineker knocked out cold in Ibiza altercation

WEB DESK: The details surrounding Wayne Lineker altercation with a group of men in Ibiza, Spain were finally revealed on Thursday.

According to reports, Wayne Lineker was embroiled in a confrontation outside a local bar. The altercation left him unconscious for several minutes by a punch to the jaw from another man.

Lineker subsequently took to the image-sharing social media platform Instagram to recount his version of the event. Accompanied by a photograph revealing a cut on the right side of his chin and sporting sunglasses, Wayne Lineker conveyed the aftermath of the encounter.

In his post, Lineker acknowledged sustaining stitches and a swollen lip but expressed gratitude for avoiding more severe injuries. He detailed that the altercation arose while he was intervening to protect a female acquaintance from harassment, attributing the confrontation to his involvement.

Reportedly, Lineker engaged in a dispute with a group of individuals who had been bothering his female companion. Just moments before the physical assault, Lineker was in the process of departing in a taxi when the aggressor and his associates confronted him.

As of yet, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
