Matt Henry will not be playing today, due to injury, New Zealand Skipper Mitchell Santner said in his toss-winning speech. Nathan Smith will be replacing him.

Indian Captain Rohit Sharma said that they have been playing at this ground for a while and have both batted and bowled first, winning in either case. No change in India’s playing XI squad.
