12 suspended over leaked matric exam in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Twelve individuals have been suspended following the leakage of matric exams in Peshawar, as announced by the Education Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during a press conference on Tuesday.

The Provincial Education Minister addressed concerns about irregularities in the matric examinations, stating that several reports had surfaced on social media regarding this issue.

He mentioned that strict measures will be enforced in examination halls where complaints are received.

He stated that the examinations are being conducted on a SLAB (Standardized Local Assessment Bank) basis, significantly reducing the likelihood of cheating.

Furthermore, he emphasized that his team is diligently monitoring the examination system throughout the province.
