2025 Pakistan T20I Tri-Nation Series: Sri Lanka crushes Zimbabwe by 9 wickets in SL VS ZIM

RAWALPINDI: In a dominant display of SL VS ZIM, Sri Lanka chased down Zimbabwe’s total of 146-5 with ease, finishing at 148-1 in just 16.2 overs, winning by 9 wickets with 22 balls to spare.

Zimbabwe’s innings saw notable contributions from Ryan Burl and Sikandar Raza, who both scored 37 runs, and Brian Bennett, who added 34. Despite their efforts, the team couldn’t set a challenging target for Sri Lanka. Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana both bowled tightly, taking 2 wickets each, while Dasun Shanaka chipped in with 1 wicket.

Sri Lanka’s chase was powered by a sensational unbeaten 98 from Pathum Nissanka off 58 balls, ably supported by Kusal Mendis with 25 runs and Kamil Mishara contributing 12. Brad Evans managed to claim the only wicket for Zimbabwe, but it couldn’t halt the Lankan momentum.
