4th World Military Cadet Games held in Venezuela: ISPR


The Fourth World Military Cadet Games took place in Venezuela from August 16 till August 22, the ISPR revealed.

RAWALPINDI: The Fourth World Military Cadet Games took place in Venezuela from August 16 till August 22, the military’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) revealed on Friday.

In a press release, the ISPR stated that Pakistan army soldiers competed in track, field, and shooting events, winning a total of five medals.

“Pakistan Armed Forces contingent is participating in Track, Field and shooting events only. CISM Pakistan Armed Forces tri services team has won five medals in the event”.

The press release went on to detail the medals won by Pakistan cadets. “Gold Medal in 400m race and Silver Medal in 200m race by Chief Warrant Officer Mueed Bloch, Pakistan Air Force and ⁠Bronze Medal in 5000m race and Silver Medal in 10000m race by Sep Muhammad Akhtar, Pakistan Army”.

“In 25 Meter pistol shooting rapid team events category, Nk Qasim Bilal, Sepoy Ismail Khan and Sepoy Muhammad Rashid of Pakistan Army won Silver Medal.”

Pakistan’s cadets earned gold in the 400m race and silver in the 200m race, with Pakistan Air Force Moeed Baloch receiving both medals. Soldier Muhammad Akhtar won bronze in the 5000m race and silver in the 10,000m race.

In the 25m pistol shooting team events, Pakistan Army’s Qasim Bilal, Sepoy Ismail Khan, and Sepoy Muhammad Arshad secured silver medals.

The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and the Services Chiefs extended their congratulations to the winning team, ISPR reported.
