Susan Khan party raid

LAHORE: In a late-night operation, Lahore police raided a private Halloween party allegedly hosted by well-known Pakistani TikToker Susan Khan in the city’s upscale Gulberg area, arresting 51 men and women on various charges.

According to police officials, the raid was conducted after multiple residents in the neighborhood filed complaints about loud music, suspected drug use, and public disturbance.

Upon entering the premises, officers reportedly seized a large quantity of alcohol, hashish, and sheesha from the venue. Authorities claim that the gathering not only involved the use of prohibited substances but was also held without the required legal permits, rendering it an unlawful event.

Police confirmed that all individuals present were taken into custody for questioning, and a case has been registered against the event organizers under relevant laws. Susan Khan, identified as the host of the party, is among those facing charges.

Sources later reported that Khan was denied bail and is expected to spend the night in jail pending further investigation. Police officials added that the seized items have been sent for laboratory testing, and the case will be presented before the court in the coming days.

A spokesperson for the Lahore Police reiterated that strict action will be taken against those organising or participating in such illegal gatherings, accentuating the department’s continued efforts to curb drug-related activities and maintain law and order in the city.

It is notable that Section 144 is also currently in effect in Punjab, due to security related risks. Under this law as well, large gatherings are prohibited.
