The report states that the child’s death was caused by severe internal and external bleeding as a result of extensive injuries.

The loss of blood ultimately led to the failure of her heart and lungs. Medical officials noted that all injuries were inflicted prior to death, with the interval between the gunshot injuries and death described as extremely brief and almost immediate.

Extensive internal injuries confirmed

According to the post-mortem details, 11 distinct injury marks consistent with bullet wounds were found on the child’s body.

A metallic fragment of a bullet was also recovered and handed over to investigating authorities for forensic analysis.

The report further revealed that the gunfire caused a severe fracture to the right thigh bone. The right lung sustained critical damage, resulting in the accumulation of blood within the chest cavity.

In addition, injuries were recorded to the liver as well as both the large and small intestines.

Evidence handed over for investigation

Hospital authorities confirmed that the child’s blood-stained clothing, X-ray images and other medico-legal evidence have been handed over to police for further investigation.
