Aamir Khan confirms marriage with Gauri Spratt

With reports circulating that veteran Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is set to tie the knot for the third time, the actor has confirmed the news himself. The 61-year-old actor is planning to marry his partner, Gauri Spratt, next month.

The Bollywood star is preparing to step into a new chapter of his life. Speaking to Variety India about the decision, he said, “The news about the marriage is true. It’s on July 5.”

An exclusive report by Hauterrfly on Instagram suggested that the wedding will take place on July 5 in a private and simple ceremony, attended only by close friends and family. According to the post, a source close to the couple revealed that they are not planning a grand wedding and will opt for a simple signing ceremony at home instead.

Aamir Khan publicly introduced Gauri Spratt to the media in Mumbai during celebrations marking his 60th birthday last year. The report by Hauterrfly claimed that the two have been living together for a little over a year and have built a happy and stable life together.

This will be Aamir Khan’s third marriage. He first married Reena Dutta in 1986. The marriage ended in 2002, and the couple has two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan.

The actor later married film director Kiran Rao in 2005. The couple announced their separation in 2021 but continue to co-parent their son, Azad Rao Khan.
