Abby and David split after five years on ‘Love on the Spectrum’ in shock breakup

Abby and David

Abby Romeo and David Isaacman, widely known as Abby and David from Love on the Spectrum, have reportedly ended their relationship after five years together, bringing an end to one of the show’s most beloved couples.

The pair met on the first season of the Netflix series in 2021 and remained together across all four seasons, becoming the longest-running relationship on the show.

A relationship fans followed from the start

Viewers first saw Abby and David connect during a date at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, a moment that quickly became a defining part of their story.

Over time, their relationship grew into one of the central arcs of Love on the Spectrum, with fans following their milestones, shared routines and future plans on screen.

They later returned to the zoo to celebrate an anniversary, echoing how closely their journey had come full circle.

Future plans once in focus

Despite their strong bond, Abby had previously said the couple were not in a rush to marry.

During the show’s fourth season, she said they already felt “married in our hearts”, while also expressing caution about taking the next step too quickly.

The pair had spoken about the possibility of getting married abroad, including in Kenya’s Maasai Mara, though those plans never materialised.

A widely followed split

Outside the show, Abby often shared glimpses of their relationship, including visits to Disneyland, Universal Studios and other outings.

She also spoke about how David supported her in everyday situations, describing the ways he helped her feel comfortable and understood.

Their reported breakup marks the end of a relationship that had become a key part of ‘Love on the Spectrum’ and one that many viewers had closely followed.
