Aima Baig did not have a ‘mini heart attack’

WEB DESK: Pakistani female singer Aima Baig has clarified that she did not have a mini heart attack, instead, she experienced dehydration due to not drinking enough water and neglecting her diet.

Baig, in a series of Instagram stories, on Friday, said that her blood pressure had risen from 88 to 200, which required her to be admitted to the hospital in an emergency.

She also thanked all her well-wishers for their prayers and good wishes.

Aima Baig, in social media post on Wednesday posted a picture from the hospital saying ‘ she received a mini heart attack’, However, she has now clarified that she uses ‘wrong synonym’ to describe certain things.

Aima Baig’s health scare quickly spread across social media, eliciting a wide range of reactions. Some users criticised the singer, suggesting that her condition was due to being “too skinny” and suffering from malnutrition. However, many fans and well-wishers flooded her post with messages of support, sending prayers and wishes for her swift recovery.
