Aimal Wali Khan apologises for attack on PTI leader

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) president of the Awami National Party (ANP), Aimal Wali Khan has issued an apology for the acts of violence carried out by party workers against a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader within the premises of the Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Thursday.

Earlier today, ANP workers reportedly attacked Fazal Muhammad Khan from PTI, who had previously defeated ANP’s Asfand Yar Wali in the 2018 general elections.

The assault took place during the hearing of a contempt of court case against Aimal Wali Khan.

ANP workers allegedly kicked and punched Fazal, resulting in a chaotic scene outside the courtroom.
