Allison Holker has announced her engagement to Adam Edmunds, revealing that the proposal came during what she thought was a surprise birthday party.

The professional dancer shared the news on Instagram on Thursday, describing the moment as “the most romantic night” of her life. Edmunds proposed during the celebration, transforming the event into an unexpected engagement surrounded by close friends and family.

“I am so in love with you,” Holker wrote, thanking Edmunds for the support and stability he has brought into her life and the lives of her children. She said blending their families has been “the biggest blessing” and added that she feels safe knowing he is by her side.

Holker, who turned 38 earlier this month, said every detail of the night had been thoughtfully planned. She also thanked those who helped organise the celebration, including party planner Troy Williams and musician Clinton Kane, who performed during the event.

The couple went public with their relationship in September 2024, nearly two years after Holker’s late husband, Stephen tWitch Boss, died in December 2022. Holker and Boss married in 2013 after meeting on So You Think You Can Danceand shared three children.

Edmunds is a tech executive and father to one son. Holker has previously spoken about building a future together, saying last year that Edmunds helped her “find herself again” and brought renewed joy and stability into her life and her children’s lives.

The engagement marks a new chapter for Holker, whose announcement has drawn an outpouring of support as she celebrates love, family and moving forward.
