ANF seizes 97 kg drugs in countrywide operations

RAWALPINDI: The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) seized 97 kilogram drugs and arrested 10 drug peddlers in nine countrywide operations. A spokesman of ANF Headquarters said on Monday that operations against elements involved in drugs peddling were conducted in Islamabad, Karachi, Hub, Torkham border and Quetta.

During separate actions, 67.868 kg Heroin, 18.7 kg hashish, 8 kg Ice (Crystal Meth), one kg opium and 23,580 intoxicated tablets. As many as 10 drug peddlers were arrested during the operations. The detainees were being investigated after registering separate cases against the under Drug Act.
