Anti-graft body summons Zartaj Gul

DERA GHAZI KHAN: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab on Tuesday issued a summon to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader Zartaj Gul on charges of alleged corruption in different development projects.
Zartaj Gul is accused of allegedly receiving commission and kickbacks in various development projects carried out during the tenure of the PTI government.
The ACE has registered a case against Zartaj Gul, her husband and others on alleged corruption charges.

The accused have been ordered to appear before the ACE on Wednesday (tomorrow).
Previously, Zartaj Gul was accused of influencing the appointment of her sister as a director in the National Counter Terrorism Authority in 2019.
Zartaj Gul served as Minister of State for Climate Change under Imran Khan’s government from October 2018 to April 2022.

She was also a member of National Assembly till January 2023 from the NA-191 constituency.
