Army chief commends POF’s role in national security, economy

WEB DESK: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir expressed his appreciation for the pivotal role played by Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) in bolstering both national security and the economy. This acknowledgment came during his visit to the Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) in Wah Cantt.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief conducted a thorough review of the products manufactured at the Ordnance Factory.

During the visit, he observed new weapons that were locally designed and manufactured, undergoing test and trials, as reported by ISPR. The Army Chief was also briefed on the production capabilities of the Pakistan Ordnance Factory.
