Aseefa Bhutto says PPP will continue to fight for G-B citizens’ rights

GILGIT: Aseefa Bhutto Zardari said she was very happy to visit Gilgit-Baltistan, adding that the people of the region have always raised Pakistan’s name with pride.

She said Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto gave a voice to the people, while Shaheed Benazir Bhutto sacrificed her life for democracy. She added that Bilawal Bhutto is continuing Benazir Bhutto’s mission today.

Aseefa Bhutto said the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) wants a bright future for the people and remains committed to public welfare and prosperity. She stressed that Shaheed Bhutto struggled for the rights of the people.

Criticising political opponents, she said some leaders only appear during elections and disappear after making promises, while Bilawal Bhutto remains always with the people.

She said the PPP will provide education and employment opportunities to youth and will continue to fight for the rights of the people.

Aseefa Bhutto urged people to support the PPP’s “arrow” symbol, saying it represents the hope of the poor and the identity of democracy.
