Aseefa Bhutto takes oath as MNA during NA session

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari, took oath as member of National Assembly on Monday.

Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq administered the oath.

Earlier todaa, The unopposed election Aseefa Bhutto Zardari to the NA-207 seat in Nawabshah was challenged in the Sindh High Court (SHC).

A petition filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Ghulam Mustafa Rind alleges that his nomination papers were unfairly rejected following his ‘abduction’. He has urged the court to nullify the notification of Aseefa Bhutto’s uncontested victory and has called for a by-election, scheduled for April 21.
