Asia Regional Qualifying Event: Pakistan Tennis Federation announces boys, girls squads

The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) has announced the boys and girls squads for the upcoming Asia Regional Qualifying Event along with the Asia Under-12 Team Competition.

According to officials, the event will take place from April 11 to April 18, 2026, in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The national squads were selected after three-day trials held from March 9 to March 11 in Islamabad at the Pakistan Tennis Federation Tennis Complex. A total of eight boys and five girls were invited to participate in the trials based on their national rankings and recent performances.

Following the selection process, Muhammad Ayan, Muhammad Faizan and Mustafa Uzair Rana were named in the boys’ team, while M. Ibrahim Hussain Gill has been included as the reserve player.

In the girls’ category, Shehnur Umar, Shehrin Umar and Wajeeha Fatima secured places in the squad. Dua Yousaf Qureshi has been named as the reserve player.

The President and Secretary General of the Pakistan Tennis Federation congratulated the selected players and expressed hope that they will deliver strong performances in the upcoming regional event and continue to achieve success in the future.
