RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed 11 militants belonging to Indian proxy “Fitna al-Khawarij,” the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Sunday.

According to the military’s media wing, multiple militant hideouts were targeted during the operation and weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the slain militants.

The statement said the killed militants were involved in several acts of terrorism.

A clearance operation is underway in the area to eliminate remaining militants, it further said.

The ISPR added that security forces remain determined to completely eradicate terrorism backed by foreign support.

It said the counter-terrorism campaign under the National Action Plan will continue with full force.
