ISLAMABAD: Following the news of an audio leak between Latif Khosa and Bushra Bibi, where the latter expressed concerns about Imran Khan’s sisters, Khosa emphasized that the conversation was private and protected by the client-lawyer privilege.
Speaking to the media after an appeal hearing against Imran Khan’s conviction in the ToshaKhana case, Khosa condemned the leak with palpable anger, stating, “Whoever leaked this audio should be ashamed of themselves.”

He questioned the ethics of leaking private conversations, emphasizing that Justice Abdul Sattar had previously instructed anyone responsible for such leaks to come forward during the proceedings of the case.
In a purported audio leak that emerged online on Thursday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, discussed the ‘inappropriate’ behavior of Khan’s sisters with senior lawyer Latif Khosa on a phone call.
During a conversation with her lawyer, Khosa, Bushra said that while meeting with Imran Khan, an issue erupted between her and Khan’s sisters. “I was shocked to see their behavior, but I preferred to avoid any argument with them,” she added. Bushra Bibi said that she ended the debate by informing Khan that Advocate Khosa would handle all her legal matters.
Bushra also informed advocate Khosa that Khan’s sister met him at the suggestion of his wife.
Khosa clarified his position during a conversation with Bushra, saying that he does not believe in misbehaving with anyone. “I just requested they not insist on me and let me handle the legal matter in a way I felt appropriate,” he said.
