HARARE: Australia U19 set West Indies U19 a daunting target of 314 runs in their ICC U19 World Cup Super Six clash, powered by a superb century from skipper Oliver Peake.
Batting first, Australia U19 posted a commanding 313 all out, with Peake anchoring the innings with a composed 109 off 117 balls, including nine fours and a six. The top order well supported him, as Will Malakczuk (48) and Nitesh Gershom Samuel (56) provided a solid start, giving the incoming batters a strong platform.
Later contributions from Alex Lee Young (45) and Jayden Scott Draper (29) helped Australia pile on the runs, while West Indies conceded 21 extras.
