Cricket fever is about to sweep through Lahore as Pakistan prepares to host Australia in a high-octane three-match T20 series at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium. The matches are set for January 29, 31, and February 1, each starting at 6 PM local time, promising fans four days of explosive cricket action under the lights.

Australia has named a 17-player squad for the Pak Vs Aus series, with Mitchell Marsh leading as captain. Senior stars Travis Head, Cameron Green, and Josh Inglis are included after their Ashes heroics, while exciting newcomers Mahli Beardman and Jack Edwards make their international debuts following standout Big Bash League performances. Rested stars Glenn Maxwell, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Nathan Ellis, and Tim David will sit out as selectors manage workloads and ensure fitness, giving young talents the chance to shine.

George Bailey, Australia’s Chair of Selectors, spoke on the importance of the tour, saying, “The series is a great opportunity for those on the brink of selection and some young players we rate highly to gain valuable experience with the World Cup group in Pakistan.”
