Ayesha Baloch wins gold medal at Asian Games Wrestling final

Pakistani wrestler Ayesha Baloch has won the gold medal at the Asian Games Wrestling Final in Sri Lanka after defeating the Indian opponent, Shreya Sai in a dominant performance.

Representing Pakistan at the Asian Games 2026, Ayesha Baloch delivered a strong performance throughout the wrestling competition. She progressed through the tournament by defeating several opponents and secured the gold medal in the final.

Throughout the event, Ayesha displayed consistent technical ability and maintained control in key matches. In the final bout, she executed her game plan effectively and limited her opponent’s opportunities to gain momentum.

Following her victory, Ayesha received the gold medal and represented Pakistan on the podium during the medal ceremony.

This is not Ayesha’s first international medal. She previously won a silver medal at the World Martial Arts Games in Uzbekistan. At the national level, she has also secured a gold medal in Nomad MMA in Abbottabad and has won three gold medals in boxing competitions.
