Back from jail: Ducky Bhai’s wife clears the air after viral rumours

LAHORE: Arooba Jatoi, the wife of popular YouTuber Saad Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, has said that he is currently keeping away from social media following his recent release from jail.

In an Instagram post, Aroob Jatoi said that any circulating photos or videos being attributed as new are in fact old, noting that the YouTuber has taken a complete break from online activity.

“Saad is currently taking a break. He has not created any new content after his release. Any video or photo currently circulating is old,” she stated.

She requested fans to avoid sharing unverified information, adding that Saad will return to digital platforms “stronger than before.”

Saad Rehman was released from Camp Jail, Lahore, after a judicial order instructed his release provided he was not wanted in any other pending cases.

The order came after the Lahore High Court accepted his bail on Monday against a surety bond of Rs1 million in a case involving promotion of online gambling applications.

The YouTuber was arrested after the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) registered a case accusing him of promoting an illegal betting app.

Investigations so far include allegations of fund transfers through digital assets, including cryptocurrency.

A day earlier, his release was delayed due to the late issuance of the robkar, but on Tuesday Judicial Magistrate Naeem Bhutto ordered his immediate release.

Ducky Bhai’s family and close friends were present at the time of his release, while the case filed by FIA’s National Crime Agency Wing (NCIA) remains under investigation.
