Balochistan mulling ban on trophy, bird hunting

Quetta: In a decisive move, the Balochistan government has announced the cancellation of all bird hunting allotments, asserting its authority under the 18th Amendment, says an official press release.

“Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo declared that the government would fiercely defend its right to make such decisions, stating that no one could challenge their constitutional and legal power,” reads the media handout.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the ban on trophy hunting would also be imposed.
