Balochistan Varsities to get new VCs after govt nod

Balochistan government on Monday approved the names of Vice Chancellors (VC) for several universities in the province.

Dr. Khalid Hafeez has been nominated as VC Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering & Management Sciences (BUITEMS), Dr. Shabir Ahmed Lahri has been nominated as VC of Bolan University of Medical Health Sciences (BUMHS) whereas Ehsan Kakar has been cleared for VC of the University of Loralai and Dr. Maqsood Ahmed for Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Khuzdar.

Secretary of Colleges and Higher Education in Balochistan, Hafiz Abdul Majid, confirmed that the appointment summary had been sent to the Governor of Balochistan for final approval following which official appointment notifications will be issued.
