ISLAMABAD: Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Director-General Lt-Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that Balochistan is an integral part of Pakistan and can never be separated from it.
He said the terrorism in the province has no ideological or conceptual basis and is solely sponsored by India, which he blamed for destabilising the entire region.
Speaking to teachers during the “Hilal Talks 2025” programme organised by the ISPR, the Pakistan army spokesperson reiterated that Balochistan is deeply interwoven with Pakistan’s economy and society.
“Propaganda suggesting Balochistan could be separated is completely misguided. Baloch, Sindhis, Pashtuns, Punjabis, Kashmiris and Baltis — we are all brothers and sisters, inseparable. No one can divide us,” he said.
He said that the acts of terrorism in Balochistan are not backed by any ideology but are entirely orchestrated and funded by India. “India alone is responsible for instability in this region.”
Lt-Gen Chaudhry said the term “Fitna-tul-Hindustan” has been coined for Baloch terrorism because India finances, provides medical treatment for leaders, issues them passports, and offers training — often using Afghanistan as their base of operations.

“These terrorists are enemies of Balochistan’s development and people,” he said, adding that they live among the people and oppose progress because once the region is developed, children will gain access to knowledge, jobs, and awareness — something India fears.
“You must decide not to become tools of terrorists. You must choose education and technology. Balochistan has immense potential — God willing, it will become the richest province of Pakistan.”
‘Indian Proxies a Threat to the Entire Region’
The military spokesperson said that groups such as the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), which he labelled “Fitna-tul-Hindustan”, are led by individuals based in India. Referring to another group, he said their leader openly calls for Indian support and receives money and dollars from India, describing them as “India’s paid slaves.”
Pointing to Dr Mahrang Baloch without naming her directly, Lt-Gen Chaudhry said, “You mentioned the lady doctor — ask her who is paying for her tickets to Norway, who is funding her rallies, and why Jewish and Hindu lobbies support her?”
He criticised her association with terrorist casualties, referencing the Jaffar Express attack, stating, “What connection do you have with the bodies of terrorists who killed women and children? You carry their bodies and politicise them in rallies — that makes you a proxy of terrorists.”
‘India Has No Sympathy for Pakistan or Balochistan’
The DG ISPR emphasised that Balochistan’s people must realise that India has no sympathy for Pakistan or the Baloch. “India is an eternal enemy of Pakistan. It has no concern for humanity or the Baloch — these [terrorists] are worthy of being eliminated.”
He urged the people to rise up and reject those trying to mislead them, adding, “When we say ‘Kashmir will become Pakistan,’ the Kashmiris echo it too. Kashmir is destined to join Pakistan — it’s a bond of blood, culture, and religion. We have suffered Indian oppression together.”
‘Nothing Can Stand Between the Army and People’
Lt-Gen Chaudhry underlined the strong bond between the army and the people, calling it unbreakable.
“This is the people’s army. No one can come between the army and the people. That is why it is the only army in the world that administers polio vaccines, conducts relief operations, and fights terrorists — all while defending against India.”
He said India’s assumption that attacking Pakistan would expose cracks between the military and civilians was a flawed strategy.
“Some so-called intellectuals advised them to attack, assuming Pakistanis and their army were divided. They believed terrorists would open multiple fronts and confuse Pakistan. But all their assumptions failed.”
‘All Indian Assumptions Turned to Dust’
He said India was also told Pakistan lacked capacity and military equipment, and would be easily overwhelmed. “They believed Pakistan was isolated — with no support from Saudi Arabia, the US, or any allies.”
India also thought its powerful media influence would enable it to justify attacking civilians and mosques. “They believed their lies would sell globally.”
“But where are those five assumptions now?” the DG ISPR asked. “They’ve turned to dust.”
It is noteworthy that over 1,950 teachers from across the country are participating in the ISPR’s “Hilal Talks 2025” programme.
Prominent academics and journalists are also sharing their views, with the programme aimed at raising awareness about anti-state elements and their malicious objectives on social media.
