Banking timings announced for Ramzan

KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Monday announced banking timings for the holy month of Ramzan.

According to a circular issued by the Banking Policy & Regulations Department of the central bank, the following office hours will be observed in the State Bank of Pakistan during Ramzan, which will also be followed by all banks/DFIs/MFBs.

PUBLIC DEALING HOURS FOR BANKS

The office hours for banks would be 9:00 am to 3:30 pm with prayer break from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm from Monday to Thursday.

On Fridays, the banking timings will be 8:30 am and close at 1:00 pm.

After the month of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, the above timings will automatically revert to pre-Ramzan timings, the central bank added.
