Banks begin receiving Hajj applications 2024

WEB DESK: Hajj 2024 applications under the government scheme are now open starting today, November 27, and will remain open until December 12.

Approximately 89,605 Pakistanis are set to undertake the Hajj pilgrimage next year through the government scheme.

Requirements for Hajj Applications 2024:

Hajj application submissions are open from November 27th to December 12th, 2023, without any age restrictions for Hujjaj. All applicants must possess a valid CNIC and a Machine-Readable Passport, with a validity extending until December 16, 2024. Additionally, having a mandatory bank account is a prerequisite for all applicants.

Saudi Arabia has reinstated Pakistan’s pre-coronavirus Hajj allocation, allowing 179,210 pilgrims, and has removed the upper age limit of 65 years for pilgrimage. In the previous year, over 81,000 Pakistani pilgrims participated in Hajj through the government scheme, while the remaining chose private tour operators.
