MUNICH: Bayern Munich will be without Jamal Musiala, Alphonso Davies, and goalkeeper Jonas Urbig for some time after injuries during Tuesday’s 6-1 Champions League win over Atalanta.
The Bavarians were dominant in the last-16 first leg in Italy but suffered setbacks as Musiala hurt his left ankle, the same one he broke last year.
Musiala, who is eager for match practice ahead of the World Cup in June, had only recently returned to full action following his broken ankle and leg in July 2025.
Davies, who also made a recent comeback after another injury, picked up a thigh muscle strain while Urbig sustained a concussion after clashing with an opponent at the very end of the game.
Bayern, who top the Bundesliga with an 11-point lead, did not specify how long each player will be out of action.
