Bella Hadid has reportedly split from her cowboy boyfriend Adan Banuelos after a relationship insiders say was marked by repeated breakups and growing tensions behind the scenes.
Sources told US media that the supermodel and the professional rodeo rider quietly ended their romance following an on-again, off-again dynamic that became increasingly difficult to sustain.
Why the breakup was complicated
The split is said to be more complex than a typical celebrity breakup. Hadid and Banuelos reportedly share business interests, having invested together in several high-value horses, which added strain as their relationship faltered.
One source described the romance as “tumultuous”, suggesting the pair struggled to find stability despite efforts to make things work.
Signs the relationship was unravelling
Speculation about trouble first emerged last summer, though Banuelos appeared to dismiss rumours in October when he posted a heartfelt anniversary message on Instagram.
By the end of the year, however, sources again claimed the couple had drifted apart. Hadid later spent the holiday season in Aspen with friends, without Banuelos, fuelling further speculation about a split.
From horse show meeting to quiet separation
Hadid and Banuelos began dating in late 2023 after meeting at a horse show in Fort Worth, Texas. The model, a keen equestrian, embraced Banuelos’s lifestyle and reportedly spent extended periods living with him before later purchasing a home in Texas.
Banuelos, 28, is a highly regarded figure in competitive cutting horse events and was inducted into the National Cutting Horse Association Riders Hall of Fame at a young age.
In previous interviews, both spoke warmly about their relationship, with Hadid once describing their first meeting as feeling like “a gust of fresh air”.
