The development followed a meeting between JI chief Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman and Bilawal Bhutto at Zardari House, Islamabad. “The rulers must pay attention to the dire situation in Gaza,” he said. He announced that JI would stage a nationwide protest on October 7 at 12pm, urging all political parties to unite for Palestine despite their differences.

The Gaza million march will be held on Embassy Road in Islamabad to show solidarity with Gaza and Lebanon, he said.

Bilawal Bhutto, while speaking to the media, emphasized the importance of setting aside ideological differences to stand united on the issue of Palestine.

“We need to come together on this issue, and all of Pakistan should be united. Despite the existing political differences, this is a positive development in the political landscape of Pakistan,” Bilawal said.

He assured Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman that the PPP will fully support Jamaat-e-Islami in this regard and reiterated the need to send a clear message to the world that “We stand with the people of Gaza.”
