Bilawal arrives in G-B ahead of CM-elect Amjad Hussain’s oath-taking

SKARDU: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari arrived in Gilgit-Baltistan on Sunday to attend the oath-taking ceremony of chief minister-elect Amjad Hussain, with preparations for the ceremony now complete.
Bilawal travelled to Skardu on a PIA flight accompanied by senior PPP leaders, including Qamar Zaman Kaira and other party officials. Upon his arrival at Skardu Airport, Bilawal interacted with fellow passengers, posed for photographs and was received by Amjad Hussain and other political leaders. He later travelled to Gilgit, where he met local residents along the route and listened to their concerns.
Bilawal is currently staying at a hotel in Gilgit, where he is also holding meetings with political and social figures ahead of the ceremony.
Meanwhile, authorities have completed preparations for the swearing-in ceremony at Chinar Bagh, the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Gilgit, with stringent security arrangements put in place.
The oath-taking ceremony is scheduled to take place at 2pm on Tuesday, during which Amjad Hussain will be sworn in as the new chief minister of G-B, with Bilawal expected to attend as a special guest.
