Video: Bilawal makes another gaffe at Karachi event

KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari made another gaffe while translating an English proverb into Urdu during an event in Karachi.

He laughed at the moment and humorously asked, “How many memes will be made about this gaffe?”

Bilawal’s failed attempt to translate the English proverb “Give someone an inch and they’ll take a mile” into Urdu, followed by his laughing at himself, had the lawyers and media persons present at the bar council in laughter.

The PPP chairman while addressing the lawyers at the Sindh Bar Council, said “A constitutional federal court, having judges from all provinces, is essential and needed.”

He said the present judicial system magnifies 15 per cent of constitutional cases into 90 per cent. “Constitutional reforms are not a new thing, we will bring judicial reforms. Legislation and amending the constitution cannot be done through courts,” he added.
