Bilawal says GB needs PPP’s govt to address regional key issues

GILGIT: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto said during his address at a gathering here that many of the Gilgit-Baltistan’s issues have gone unnoticed, which “Only PPP will be able to address” for this region.

The PPP chairman said during his address that his party will only be able in addressing major issues of the region (including infrastructure and health) “When you citizens caste vote for them in the elections to be held on June 7”.

During his speech, he said that he will bring “People Housing Initiative” into GB but that will only tak place when the elections are won by his party. This initiative will empower ordinary citizens, especially those from climate-vulnerable areas across the region, to build safe, resilient, and well-secured homes of their own.

Turning to the health sector, Bilawal said the region urgently needs more hospitals to ensure that underprivileged citizens have access to free and affordable treatment for major diseases. He noted that the area’s residents are among the nation’s hardest-working people and deserve better healthcare facilities and services. “The PPP government will ensure this facility as well for this citizens of this region.”
