‘Bol Kaffara’ singer Sehar Gul faces online backlash over performances on Indian songs

Sehar Gul, known for her breakthrough hit “Bol Kaffara Kya Hoga,” is facing criticism on social media after videos of her performing Indian songs during recent concerts went viral.

The singer, whose popular track was previously copied by Indian artists, performed at music events across various cities in Punjab, where she sang “Bol Kaffara Kya Hoga” along with other numbers.

However, her performances on Indian songs — including “Siaara Tu Tu Badla Nahi” — have triggered backlash online. While many young attendees at the events applauded her renditions, social media users criticised her choice of Indian tracks.

Several users also took issue with her on-stage dance performances, with some even mocking her singing, claiming she had “left Chahat Fateh Ali Khan behind.”
