Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav’s assets seized

NEW DELHI: Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav’s property has been seized due to non-payment of a loan.

According to the Indian media, the Central Bank of India has seized Yadav’s property worth millions of rupees in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, following his failure to repay the loan.

The media reports stated that the actor had taken a loan of INR3 crore, using his father’s properties in Shahjahanpur as collateral.

Indian media further reported that Yadav had taken the loan from the Mumbai branch of the Central Bank of India. Due to non-payment, the loan amount increased to Rs 11 crore (INR110 million). On August 8, a team from the central bank’s Mumbai branch reached Shahjahanpur and sealed the property.

This is not the first time the 53-year-old actor has faced legal action for failing to repay a loan. Previously, Rajpal Yadav was sent to jail for non-payment of a loan taken for his film Ata Pata Laapata. He was also once involved in a legal case for hitting a student with a scooter during film shooting.

It should be noted that Rajpal Yadav is a renowned Indian actor who has appeared in more than 150 films, including Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Dhol, Phir Hera Pheri, De Dana Dan, and Chup Chup Ke. Yadav is well-known for his comedy and versatile acting.
